what the...

last week my father bought a return ticket for me to return to kota bharu, on fireflyz airline..this newest cheap airline using fokker crafts only travels between subang airport to selected places like kota bharu, langkawi, kuching etc i was happy to be able to try this new cheap airline, having travelled wayyy to much on air asia (not that i dunt like them, i do but its good competition rite?)

so today, my flight to kota bharu was at 9.20 am and by 8.15 am i was already queing at the check in counter.. after they handed me my boarding pass, they informed me to be at the boarding area by 8.50am..rite, okay, seeing that the waiting area, the check in area, the boarding area AND the plane are all basically in one same area so yeah sure, 8.50 no problem..

and then at 8.50 they inform us that the flight is delayed to 12.40pm..

rite, being my usual placid and patient self, i was okay with it, i was okay with the flight being delayed, i mean i wished they would have told me earlier that it was delayed so that i dont have wake up so early and all, but okay fair enough, they only found out about it, so okay, these things happened, ive been in 2,3 hours delay before so okay2 fine..the other passengers werent too happy about it and the airline compensated it by giving us free meal at the airport restaurant called the butler or sumting, as for me, i decided to head home first and came back later (luckily my house is only 15 minutes drive away) so i left, after making sure that they have my number to call in case the flight was changed again or watever..

when i came at 12pm, i was informed that the flight is now delayed to 3pm. 3pm!!!

by this time i was mildly annoyed and irritated as i have just spend 15 bucks on the cab to the airport.. this is a little bit too much isnt it? by this time a majority of the customers are pretty livid and demanding for an explanation but really despite all the anger and all, the flight is still delayed anyhow..

then at 2pm, i was informed that the flight is now delayed to 5pm. 5pm!!!! AND, it is not confirmed so it may even be further delayed!

oh come on! i know that the company is new and all but how stupid is their engineers that they could not estimate the length of time it will take fix watever 'technical problems' that u've got!

i mean really, isnt it just ridicilous to delay a 9am flight to 5pm? its a domestic flight, and only a bloody 45 minutes away, the technical problem must have been major and yet they insist on giving the customers a false hope that the flight will be 'soon'!

anyway, at this point i am extremely irritated and annoyed that i have wasted an entire day for this that i decided to call it a day and changed the flight to next day instead (which is today), same time at 9.20am, and the customer service people took them an hour, one hour, one whole bloody hour to change my ticket to a new one and to print that piece of paper, they have the cheek to tell me at first to just come back tomorrow with the previous ticket and i can still be able to get on the flight..hello, i was not born yesterday, i know too well the importance of having a black andwhite confirmation and not word of mouth, these people are soo inefficient and unproffesional and they all looked like they dont really know wat they are doing there and are not prepared for anything of this sort! before taking them that one hour, they actually asked to me to call the customer service on my mobile and arrange for a new ticket, ayoooo, dont u have a phone there? wat kind of office do you have that i have to call the customer service when i am the damn sales counter alreadyyy?? whatt?? what?!! excuse me, arent you already THE "Customer Service"??!!

rite, deep breaths...when in extreme annoyance, i can change to be an extremely catty, sarcastic bitchy person and deliver poisonous jarbs with perfect politeness that the person receiving it at the other end could be reduced to tears..which i think i almost did, the customer service lady refuses to look me in the eye..i know i know im evil ..

anyway, by the time i left, i heard someone saying that it could be delayed to 7pm..really? kenapa tak delay to the next day jer terus?

see, they forced me to be a bitch, i dont want to, but i have no choice..

if you were in my shoes, wat would you do?

giler delay...aku ingat experience dgn MAS delay 4-5 jam dah teruk, rupa2nya ada lagi yg delay lebih teruk...mmmm tp apa-apa pun delay tuh demi keselamatan . tapi kenapa tak fix the problem cepat2. ni sure beli kapalterbang buruk yg nak campak lombong pastu repair sikit2 asal boleh terbang. uuhhh!

giler delay...aku ingat experience dgn MAS delay 4-5 jam dah teruk, rupa2nya ada lagi yg delay lebih teruk...mmmm tp apa-apa pun delay tuh demi keselamatan . tapi kenapa tak fix the problem cepat2. ni sure beli kapalterbang buruk yg nak campak lombong pastu repair sikit2 asal boleh terbang. uuhhh!
