Preaching the End of the World

there's a feeling of somewhat totally decadent and deliciously naughty when you blog for more than once in a day...those feelings being brought by the fact you should be either working or at least get off the damn computer and get a life instead hehehe

but i was listening to this song while i was doing my work (really, honestly!) and it reminded me of my Mr.BestFriend, since he's the one who gave me the song as a reminder of our friendship and what i meant to him and im just missing him so very much and of course he is on the other side of the world, very very very far away sigh...

now im not only pathetic and grumpy, im sentimental too hehehehe

welcome to my life as a drama queen (^_^)

Preaching the End of the World

Hello, I know there's someone out there who can understand
And who's feeling the same way as me
I'm twenty-four and I've got everything to live for
But I know now that it wasn't meant to be
'Cause all has been lost and all has been won
And there's nothing left for us to save
But now I know that I don't want to be alone today
So if you find that you've been feeling just the same

Call me now it's alright
It's just the end of the world
You need a friend in the world
'Cause you can't hide
So call and I'll get right back
If your intentions are pure
I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world

I've got a photograph I'll send it off today
And you will see that I am perfectly sane
Not for a lifetime or forever and a day
'Cause we know now that just won't be the case
There will be no commitment and no confessions
And no little secrets to keep
No little children or houses with roses just the
end of the world and me
'Cause all has been gone and all has been done
And there's nothing left for us to say
But we could be together as they blow it all away
And we can share in every moment as it breaks

Call me now it's alright
It's just the end of the world
You need a friend in the world
'Cause you can't hide
So call and I'll get right back
If your intentions are pure
I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world

what kind of cake are you?

You Are a Chocolate Cake

Fun, comforting, and friendly.
You are a true classic, and while you're not super cutting edge, you're high quality.
People love your company - and have even been known to get addicted to you.

i was feeling hungry and was searching for a recipe for an out-of-this-world chocolate tiramisu cake when i decided to do this "what-kind-sumting-sumting-are-you?" blogthings...

sure enough, just as i suspected, im a typical chocolate cake..

fun, comforting and friendly = boring boring boring yada yada boring

everyone and their next door neighbour is "fun, comforting and friendly" !!!

im being grumpy, arent i? hehehe ok2.. hmm maybe i'll go to town later and buy a piece of cake, you know, to cheer myself up :p (not chocolate, yucks) but maybe a vanilla and mint sponge cake with layers of blueberries and strawberries in the middle and freshly cut juicy peaches on top of the frostings (gehehe mind you, this cake really really exists!)

see, why cant i be that kind of cake???

always getting over you

its been a week and a half since my "just friends" and "day four" blog, well not here, its in my Big Yellow Taxi blog (see link :p) and here i am back at square one...

you see, the days have passed quite uneventfully for me, uneventful meaning there wasnt any big emotional drama involving panic attacks or difficulty of breathing or feelings of being nausea (scientific study shows that these symptoms are a sure sign being in love, but i think its also symptoms of a broken heart..hmm i think scientist should just forget about matters of the human heart and focus on monkeys or something, humans are wayy too unpredictable) and efforts have been made to try not think about "him" too much, and i think i did pretty well, considering..

i managed to remember to eat full meals and i did get at least 4 hours of sleep per night (an improvement from none at all, okayyy) and i did have fun going out with friends doing various activities ranging from shopping at ASDA, gogling at the Bread Guy (really cute! kinda looks like "him" actually), lunch dates with some Greeks and Italians (two of the most interesting races i have ever met!) and making plans for my Germany trip in the coming Easter break, and i bought running shoes so that i can expand from just the twice a week kickboxing to some jogging at central park (which is something that "he" has been bugging me to do) and also its my new year resolution to be healthier and not get sick too often (as is the case right now, damn fragile genes).... and so my life is pretty full and i was happily aware that i didnt have to make too much effort not thinking about "him", it comes more naturally now, and i found myself thinking, hey i can do this!

then why does a simple text and email from him was enough to send me right back to where i started?

sure its not his fault that he didnt know that i have decided to let him go, and on top of that, he didnt know that i feel what i felt for him (betul ke nie? :p) so of course he is totally blameless etc etc and so he's off the hook, the bloody bugger..

as for me, well, being a totally hopeless romantic and blessed with the tendency of making soap dramas (award winning mind you :p but soap dramas nevertheless hehehe) out of everything, when something like this happens, it certainly affects the entire little planet that i live in and the surrounding universe alike..

enough said, im being pathetic again..ishkk :(

my mcdreamy..sighh

I've always been a huge huge fan of Mazda, they have managed to produce one great car after another, this latest one, a Mazda CX-9, a 4x4 is just sooooooo beautiful, my heart hurts (^_^) it shud be coming to UK this year...

now im torn between drooling over the ever sleek super sleuth Mazda RX8 or the macho fantastically cool CX-9... nique, nique stop daydreaming!! :p

here are the specs of the car, courtesy of :

"The Japanese newcomer, which has Volvo's XC90 and Land Rover's Discovery 3 in its sights, features a versatile seven-seat cabin and sporty looks. Strong performance and agile handling are also on the cards, and buyers will be able to choose between both two and four-wheel-drive variants.

It follows in the wheeltracks of the CX-7 crossover vehicle, which was unveiled at the Detroit expo in January. However, the CX-9 is bigger and has a third row of seats, although it retains its smaller sibling's car-style profile. Mazda RX-8-type headlamps and the firm's now trademark trapezoidal grille give the front a familiar look.

Meanwhile, a powerful 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox ensures strong performance.

Buyers will get safety features such as Dynamic and Roll Stability Control plus ABS as standard. Kit will be equally generous, with air-conditioning, six airbags, key-less entry and cruise control fitted across the line-up. There will even be an optional one-touch operation tailgate.

Boasting a 244bhp 2.3-litre engine and electronically controlled four-wheel drive, the five-seater should arrive this year 2007."

why does it always rain on me?

okay so technically not raining just ON me, only that its been raining and raining everyday for the past few weeks here in plymouth! according to the locals, a sure sign of spring.... like really? it seems to me like its been raining here regardless of whether its autumn, winter or spring! bitter i am not, just tired of being wet, and im getting nausea of the smell of wet leather from my school bag, sian my bag, tiap2 hari kena hujan huhu dont get me wrong, i love the rain as much as the next person, but come on, enough with the rain already!

the wind here is crazily strong, yesterday i found myself struggling to walk up the cliff to my uni, i was trying to put one foot forward and i couldnt do it! so i had to stand there (imagine a statue) like for an entire minute for the wind to stop so that i can run up the hill until the next wind attack which then i had to stop again, but of course, maybe the fact that i was laughing so hard during the entire process could be another reason why i couldnt even lift my foot :p sure the british people were just laughing at me too, these crazy foreigners hehehe, and strolled merrily up the hill despite the 50knots per hour wind (okay so i exxagerate :p) how in the world did they do it??

i am glad its coming to spring, no more heavy bulky winter coats, yay! back to my stylish suede and vintage leather jackets! hehe winter was a dissapointment here in plymouth, no snow! not a single drop! plenty of hailstones tho, marble sizes but not quite the same effect as snow.. nevermind, hopefully next winter will be much better and if not, id just take a trip to germany or scotland where there is actually snow!

today was a good day tho, twas raining in the morning, and now the sun is shining! no wonder the brits rushed out and sprawled themselves all over the uni parks whenever there's a tiny ray of sun! at the danger of being snobbishly british, im logging off now, gotta catch the sun while its still there :p and to another endless group meeting.. hmm perhaps i can persuade my groupmates to have a lunch meeting in the park instead (^_^)

laterss peeps!

when the inevitable happens

happy birthday to my brand new and shiny blog! its suppose to be a twin to my big yellow taxi blog on friendster, but then again, when would i have the time to manage two blogs at the same time?? typically Gemini to always have two of everything hehe
