my boss, the senior vice president of the division, shocked me with this remark today,
"a little bird told me you are currently trying to pay off your bondage with us and planning to resign soon"
huh?
damn to hell and back.
i laughed it off,
"no la captain, dont believe everything you hear" smile*smile*wink*wink*
he smiled back,
"no, no, dont laugh, this little bird is quite trustworthy, but if you are thinking of resigning, just want to let you know we will not let you go that easily"
right. ok. that's clear enough.
wonder which little bird told him that?
melodramatic, lacking in pretension, too much apprehension, hopeless romantic, obsessively compulsive, neurotic to the bone and somewhat serendipitous in between (^_^)

lets do the twist :p
so okay, let's get few things straight, no its not really a gym but it has the basic gym equipments and yes, there are actually 'real sizes' people there, ok? :p
that's the two most frequently asked questions about this health centre that i have just joined early last month, in an effort to keep myself fitter and well, healthier :)
im not going to disclose to you the name of the centre, please email me if u want to know more, but i can tell you its located about 20 minutes walk from my office in Jln Ampang :p
what i can also tell you are the following;
1. they have plenty of martial arts classes like taekwondo, judo, all the other 'dos' and they have range from beginners to advanced, and u can actually choose to join the classes for fun and purely for getting fit and losing weight, or u can do it seriously and actually get belts and go for exams and join in tournaments
2. they have kickboxing! a real kick ass kick boxing classes that if you actually attend religiously for all the classes three times a week, i can bet you a significant loss in your weight, like seriously.
3. they have fun dance classes, mtv style, hip hop, line dancing, belly dancing etc so far ive tried mtv style (really tiring and the moves, aiyoo, ala rihanna + usher + jlo + m.daud kilau) and belly dancing, my current favourite, complete with that coin skirts, you know, those that goes 'kching kching' whenever u shake yr booty :p
what i like about the place;
1. on my first day there were no charts or scary looking forms that i need to fill out painstakingly of how many sit ups, press ups or how many miles ive run on the treadmill. u know, those small tables on cards with your weight and height on it, and your content of fat etc etc - which scares me off so much putting it in black and white like that and makes me utterly miserable that i lost hope all together even before i start the bloody exercise! instead they just give me my gear, showed me to the ladies changing, give me the class schedules and leave me alone with just one simple instruction - try to join and come for as many classes as you can and have fun!
2. there are people with real sizes there, not size -4 wannabes working out their size zeros bodies to the bones in their latest designer matching workout gear and gleaming ipods stuck to their wrists. instead you have people from all walks of lifes, to uncles and aunties doing taichi, mothers laughingly doing the belly dance, getting together after work, kids seriously doing the taekwandos while their mothers cheer them on, and normal yuppies like me, who would just joined a class even tho i was late for it, because the instructor happily beckons you in and greet u like a personal friend :) sounds like Disneyland huh? hahaha i know, i get carried away sometimes with my descriptions, and tend to exaggerates a bit (okay okay, maybe a lot :p) but in all fairness, that's how i viewed the place. why dont u come and see for yourself?
3. they got free fruit lollies! yummmyyy its well stocked in the ice cream box and also they have cordials u can make your own if you feel like something sweet :p
4. its not male infested area (no offense to guys out there) but its comfortably mixed of both genders and the weights and press ups and what nots are not conquered by guys which means u can a have turn there without having have to wipe the male sweat first (eeuww) or being ogled and snickered at just because you can only 10 push ups..need i say more?
okay, the negative part?
the parking! its rm3.50 per entry! on some days i would walk from the office but as it rains most of the time now, i cant do that and also, because i cant leave early from work i had to rush there and the fastest way to get there is to drive there so now i try to persuade some office mates to join the club so that we can share the parking fee hehe
so that's it folks, so come on, lets do some 'kching kching' together (^_^)

im broke (but im happy)
i just spend my last 50 bucks on a movie and lunch with miss olyano..
The Movie - What Happens in Vegas
The Lunch - KFC
hehe im now officially broke, left with only about 5 ringgit in my wallet after topping up fuel on the way home from one utama.
but its okay, pay day in two days, i can survive :)
why am i moneyless? because ive just spend an obscenely amount of money on my car, and i still cant drive it because the last spare parts for the brakes is not available yet, so note to everyone, try not to get yourself a korean car, the spare parts are unbelievably expensive :( but despite that, we still wanna go out today. twas a perfect way to spend a rainy sunday afternoon, watching a damn funny movie and ending it with a gorgeous fulfilling lunch with one of bestest friend having endless conversations about superman (hers) and snakes (mine) and younger men and gorgeous silver bracelets and anklets :p

R.E.S.P.E.C.T
i dont like cats.
and the reason i dont like them is because im scared of them.
i know its weird and freaky and whatever, but i have been scared of them since i was young, there were probably some incident of some sort that leads to this fear, but i cant remember a time when i am not scared of them.
over the years i have learned to control my fear. i no longer jumped a mile away when i see a cat and i no longer refused to be anywhere within 20 metres radius of the mere hint of the feline existence nearby, i no longer screamed like a crazy person or squeal like a monkey when the stray animal brushes against my leg in while enjoying my maggie goreng in mamak stalls and i have learned to accept invitations to peoples houses despite knowing that their house will be filled with cats, as i refused to let them cats restricted me from having a social life. i have learned to accept there are certain places in kl where there are stray cats roaming around and my next door neighbour who breeds them like she wants to create an army of cats. im okay with that now, and i have learned to accept them.
what i dont accept is people who refuses to believe, acknowledge or respect my fear. they just simply refuse to understand and believe that i can be afraid of something supposedly to be cute and cuddly and comel and huggable. but what they dont get is that they are as cute and cuddly and comel and huggable to me as a snake or a spider or an alligator.
and so i meet cat lovers who wished to be the one to 'change me', and they keep thrusting their pride and joy, usually in the latest designer neck bracelet (ok, i dont know what they call that thing they wear around the neck) to my face and expect me to drool, simper and hug their cats and estactically announce to be reformed, and even worse, when this doesnt work, they would surprise me, when i am siting quietly at the sofa, they drop the cat on my lap, causing me to jump and my heart beating so fast i could hardly breathe and i would get so scared that i feel like crying and they? they just laugh away shaking their heads and happily scooped up their cats and tsk tsk-ed at poor nique who is by now ghost pale and shaking like a leaf, so close to tears and almost having a heart attack.
why the need to be so cruel? why are cat lovers so cruel to human beings? why cant u just respect me the way i respect you and your cats? im not evil like a cat haters, i dont hate cats, i just cannot be near them, but i dont kick them, or throw water at them use the broom and hit them with it or run them over and i even occasionally feed my neighbor's cats whenever she was not around. how would you feel if you come over to my house filled with snake cos i simply love them and would drop one anaconda on your lap and just laugh when you jumped screaming and crying because of your fear?
im sorry to say this, but the cat lovers i have met are cruel to human beings like me. laugh or deny all you want but this is my experience. im not saying all cat lovers are like that. i said the ones i have met. read my sentence properly before jumping and be defensive, yes i know you are all about to do that.
dont try to 'change' me, just respect me. that's all i ask.
