I've always been a huge huge fan of Mazda, they have managed to produce one great car after another, this latest one, a Mazda CX-9, a 4x4 is just sooooooo beautiful, my heart hurts (^_^) it shud be coming to UK this year...

now im torn between drooling over the ever sleek super sleuth Mazda RX8 or the macho fantastically cool CX-9... nique, nique stop daydreaming!! :p

"The Japanese newcomer, which has Volvo's XC90 and Land Rover's Discovery 3 in its sights, features a versatile seven-seat cabin and sporty looks. Strong performance and agile handling are also on the cards, and buyers will be able to choose between both two and four-wheel-drive variants.

It follows in the wheeltracks of the CX-7 crossover vehicle, which was unveiled at the Detroit expo in January. However, the CX-9 is bigger and has a third row of seats, although it retains its smaller sibling's car-style profile. Mazda RX-8-type headlamps and the firm's now trademark trapezoidal grille give the front a familiar look.

Meanwhile, a powerful 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox ensures strong performance.

Buyers will get safety features such as Dynamic and Roll Stability Control plus ABS as standard. Kit will be equally generous, with air-conditioning, six airbags, key-less entry and cruise control fitted across the line-up. There will even be an optional one-touch operation tailgate.

Boasting a 244bhp 2.3-litre engine and electronically controlled four-wheel drive, the five-seater should arrive this year 2007."
