im green (but im wise)

someone asks me why is it that a serious person like me reads simple books and watch simple films like chick flicks etc etc?

first thing i would to ask that person, did i come off to be a serious type of person to you? if i did, my apologies, i do tend to have misleading personalities and i do tend to pretend to be someone im not when im around new people, simply because i like to see people's reactions to things i do and i say, and if they make further effort to know me, then perhaps they might be worth the effort for me to be real with.

sounds very pompous and arrogant doesnt it? ;)

perhaps.

but if you have been betrayed and used and taken for granted and stabbed at and lied to as often as i had, just because i was too naive and i generally believe people are good and kind and its just circumstances that made them bad (see, i told u i was naive), you would understand my wariness to immediately make friends and be my real self with people i barely know.

the second thing, yes i love chick flick books and simple movies and i love to write nonsense in my blog. why not? does it makes a difference in your life and the state of it if i read differently and write and watch only about politics and war? i care about the world very very very much, which is why i hoped in writing about the good things in life would remind people that what we have now is good, to have a little bit of fun and to be a little bit nice, a little bit more human along the way and i dont believe in writing about things i dont know about and pretend to be an expert on a subject hoping that i would attract more readers, this is not a popularity contest.. and i read everything including simple books because a) im a hopeless romantic and b) does the word "entertainment" mean anything to u? some people take reading too seriously and some people do it for entertainment purposes, and i, i happen to happily in balance of both and just because i dont speak and quote items from Dostoevsky, George Orwell and John Berendt it doesnt mean i dont read them and i dont watch war movies because its always a one sided story and more often than not a twisted truth of the real thing and also more often than not, makes u feel very very angry and hateful and thus more stressful than before u wacthed the movie which sorts of beats the purpose of watching the movie in first place, u might just as well watch a documentary instead, which is the same goes with horror movies as i hate the feeling of being scared and i have too active imagination as it is without having it being described in graphics for me ..

but then again, why am i defending myself here? after all, u dont even know me, and all u got is pieces of information from the lines of my blog which is not even quarter of who i really am..

but there u go, my answer to your question..
