everyday on my way to work i will pass by a primary school, and everyday i will see the little students, with their blue and white uniform, chubby cheeks and fresh bright eyes, laughing and playing around the school compound.
last week was their sports day, and the field was colorfully decorated with red, green, blue and yellow flags, and balloons bobbed merrily in all the respective house tents and the kids, some were training, warming up, its so good to see these kids taking their sports so seriously, proudly wearing their colored tshirts and some were cheering their mates and there were even a group of tiny cheerleaders, all geared up in their little cheerleaders outfit with pom poms ready to do the pyramid formation! i actually stopped the car by the road side to watch them for awhile, sadly didnt have my camera with me but it certainly made my day to see those happy red faces, either from running or cheering to their hearts content!
then today, another heart warming sight, they were all posing by the school field in their bright clean uniform, posing for the class photos, with the teacher seating in front and all them grinning away, obviously having the time of their life, they took three photos, two serious ones, and another bloopers one and it was so funny to see them laughing and poking and teasing their friends, i think the bloopers picture was the best of them all.
it reminds me of my school days when things are much simpler and your biggest worry was your mom might put an apple in your lunch box instead of bananas cos your mom forgot you hate apples.
im being sentimental today.
im allowed.
it has been a very sentimental week.
